- Hooded sweatshirts
- Jackets and/or coats
On the flip side, these articles of clothing are easy to work around in a corporate chair massage setting:
- Light knit tops
- Cotton shirts
- Shirts with lower collars
- Comfortable slacks
As time is of the essence, being at the chair massage location a few minutes early honors both the client’s and the therapist’s time. This avoids any last-minute stress of using the restroom, avoiding that buzzing cell phone and/or text, etc.
Once received by their chair massage therapist, it is possible that clients will complete a quick medical survey to update their therapist on their medical history. This includes listing any medications that the client is currently taking. Next, the therapist may inquire about the priority of areas to be massaged for maximum results and relief.
The corporate chair massage therapist will then lead the client onto the chair and promptly begin the session with soft music, minimal talking, and the proper pressure to allow for their maximum relaxation and reset time.
A fifteen or thirty-minute chair massage can be just the right amount of time for a chair massage to leave your desk and worries behind in order to feel invigorated with increased productivity, flexibility, and a decrease in stress which leads to lower anxiety and blood pressure.
