Do you ever feel so overwhelmed with everything on your to-do list that it seems practically impossible to complete it all? In other words, do you wish there were 10 of you? Many clients update that following a mobile chair massage they have a burst of productivity, more focus, and LESS stress.

Overbooking and an ever-growing (and never completed) pile of tasks can create a lot of stress in a person’s life.

Time management and energy conservation are key to maintaining a healthy life (and workload) while also being efficient in the tasks that you prioritize and do choose to complete. If you try to do it all, either you will not reach everything on your list or you could end up finishing everything in a less-than-satisfactory manner.

In order to effectively take on your busy schedule, here are some tips to help you:

  1. Prioritize. If you have a lot of things to do, some are going to be more important than others. Take your to-do list, place numbers beside each task with 1 being the most important and the following numbers indicating each next important task, and then start completing your tasks based upon which has the highest priority. If you don’t think that you will be able to tackle everything on your list, by prioritizing, you will be ensured to complete at least the items on your list that are the most significant.
  2. Prepare. If you know that you are going to have a particularly busy day, be ready for it. Pack your lunch the night before (so you won’t have to worry about what to eat), lay out your clothes the evening before (so that you won’t have to stress about what to wear), and have everything gathered together for any meetings or tasks that you might have to undertake during the stressful day, and always be sure to have a treat or snack in your pocket for a little pick-me-up when you just need to take a breath.
  3. Plan. If you don’t prepare beforehand, a task can seem monumentally harder than it really is. For example, look up directions before beginning to drive to your meeting. Or make sure that you know where your kids have soccer practice. Don’t wait until the last minute (when you suddenly realize that you have no idea where you’re going or what you’re doing).
  4. Ask for help. You don’t have to do everything. And while you might often feel that you’re expected to, you’re not. There aren’t 10 of you, so it isn’t possible for you to complete the work of 10 people.
