Office “vacation” days with chair massage!

There has been a great deal of study on the relevance of using vacation days you receive over your work life. These are paid work days that allow you to use them for whatever reason you want to. Bring the vacation vibe in on a Friday with a chair massage! Many people save them up and will take long periods of time away from work, to plan a nice getaway for them and their family. There are many different possibilities you can use your vacation days with, it might be hard to find a way you want to use them. I will be discussing a few of the do’s and don’t s of vacation getaway choices and what you should be looking for.
Come up with a board and list all of the places that you want to visit. Then, have the members of your family do the same. In the end, you should have a giant list of everyone’s top choices for vacation spots. From here, you now have to narrow down these results. The best way to narrow down the results is to eliminate all options you have been to before. While they may be fun vacation spots, it’s been proven that going to a new, exotic place has been shown to open you up to more experiences.
When you and your family are in a brand new environment, you can really experience the area and understand the culture. You are also able to put your mind in a place that’s not as achievable when you visit regular vacation hot spots like a family cabin or a lake resort. So make sure to remove all of those options on your vacation idea board that won’t bring you the same type of creative thinking that, let’s say a trip to Paris might.
Once your list is shortened, take everyone’s ideas and look for a similar pattern among them. Look at everyone’s top ideas and go off of a voting system to find out where you’re going. You can also make compromises depending on the places that are chosen. If someone wants to go to China and the other wants to go to South Korea, you could possibly plan a one-day tour to visit South Korea as well. In the end, it’s all about compromises and being able to choose a brand new area to spend those vacation days on.
People who spend time in brand-new locations have reported they were in a state of mind that they have never been in previously. Visiting a new and different place allows for more curiosity and excitement on a planned vacation. Each destination allows for different foods, experiences, possibly weather, and relaxation. Go ahead and explore!

Chair massage helps with busy schedules

Do you ever feel so overwhelmed with everything on your to-do list that it seems practically impossible to complete it all? In other words, do you wish there were 10 of you? Many clients update that following a mobile chair massage they have a burst of productivity, more focus, and LESS stress.
Overbooking and an ever-growing (and never completed) pile of tasks can create a lot of stress in a person’s life.
Time management and energy conservation are key to maintaining a healthy life (and workload) while also being efficient in the tasks that you prioritize and do choose to complete. If you try to do it all, either you will not reach everything on your list or you could end up finishing everything in a less-than-satisfactory manner.
In order to effectively take on your busy schedule, here are some tips to help you:
- Prioritize. If you have a lot of things to do, some are going to be more important than others. Take your to-do list, place numbers beside each task with 1 being the most important and the following numbers indicating each next important task, and then start completing your tasks based upon which has the highest priority. If you don’t think that you will be able to tackle everything on your list, by prioritizing, you will be ensured to complete at least the items on your list that are the most significant.
- Prepare. If you know that you are going to have a particularly busy day, be ready for it. Pack your lunch the night before (so you won’t have to worry about what to eat), lay out your clothes the evening before (so that you won’t have to stress about what to wear), and have everything gathered together for any meetings or tasks that you might have to undertake during the stressful day, and always be sure to have a treat or snack in your pocket for a little pick-me-up when you just need to take a breath.
- Plan. If you don’t prepare beforehand, a task can seem monumentally harder than it really is. For example, look up directions before beginning to drive to your meeting. Or make sure that you know where your kids have soccer practice. Don’t wait until the last minute (when you suddenly realize that you have no idea where you’re going or what you’re doing).
- Ask for help. You don’t have to do everything. And while you might often feel that you’re expected to, you’re not. There aren’t 10 of you, so it isn’t possible for you to complete the work of 10 people. Why not consider bringing in services to aid employees in mundane tasks like dry cleaning services, car washing services, or chair massage by Corporate Massage Kneads?

Decrease stress with chair massage!

How do we as a corporate culture avoid stress? With all the technology updates in recent years, it seems that many office workers cannot escape increased levels of daily stress. This was in fact confirmed recently as reported by the Positive Experience Index. Many Americans seem to show higher levels of stress despite the rich standard of living vs. other countries around the work. Here are FIVE steps to help decrease stress in your daily work life. Special programs such as chair massage help to decrease stress AND increase productivity!
What slight changes can you make to make a huge difference in your work week?
Here are some ideas that may bring new energy and stress relief.
Form professional relationships with those that are positive and helpful
Working within an office allows for daily interaction with work colleagues. This helps when forming positive relations both inside and outside of the workday. Surround yourself with those that bring encouragement and positive vibes your way.
Put a new focus on healthy foods which enrich your mental and physical health
Healthy foods can impact your energy level throughout the day. Fresh fruit, produce and lean protein is easy to bring to the office for lunch vs. vending machine snacks which are often not as healthy (and also require pocket change!) Most offices allow easy access to the kitchen to reheat and store food.
Set up a new sleep routine to ensure mental alertness
Sleeping and restoring the body is a critical part of starting the day right! Eight hours seems to be the magical number to ensure feeling refreshed and ready for the day. Check out the apps on your phone to encourage better sleeping. Many reports that sticking to a schedule often brings better rest vs. random sleep patterns. Many sites suggest minimal screen time within one hour of going to sleep. One small change can make a HUGE difference at the start of the day!
Schedule more exercise with the office if there is a gym or walk outside during breaks
Does your office complex allow you access to a gym, yoga, or other options for physical activity? Take part and improve your physical and mental health only a few times a week! Start a contest to encourage movement and surely your energy will improve.
Drink more water!
This is easy and so helpful to improve your energy level. As a chair massage therapist, I find that many do not drink enough water throughout the day which can leave the client feeling sluggish and tired. There are many sites that educate about how much water to drink throughout the day for better functioning. Water is typically easy to find, cheap to buy if you prefer bottled water, and readily accessible in offices!

Admin Asst Day is a winner with chair massage!
Administrative assistants are integral to any workplace. Formerly referred to as “secretaries,” these unsung heroes can be labeled as executive assistants, merely “admins,” professional
administrators, etc. Though they often do not have much-recognized authority, their opinions, abilities, and encouragement of their bosses make them invaluable to their organization or company. Bring chair massage in the office as a thank you for their hard work!
Administrative assistants perform daily tasks that keep the company running seamlessly- activities such as planning meetings, managing events, sorting through mail, making quick decisions, and more. They are not merely coffee runners or phone answerers. They are adaptable, reactive, and quick on their feet- the backbone of the office and often the sanity of their employers. While some employers value education within any administrative assistants they hire, others prefer street smarts and common sense to a diploma on the wall. Overall, administrative assistants can serve various functions for their companies and can be valued for their plethora of skills. Some administrative assistants’ tasks only extend to office-related activities, while others are involved in the personal lives of their employers and can help with errands and family-related events.
In any case, administrative assistants deserve appreciation and a huge “thank you.” Wednesday, April 26, 2023, is Administrative Appreciation Day, and you should make sure that your assistants feel how grateful you are for their hard and dedicated work. They are rarely in the spotlight, yet without them, many companies would fall apart. Show your professional assistants that you appreciate them! Give Corporate Massage Kneads a call at 410-989-3577 to schedule your onsite chair massage therapy event in the office for some of your most valued employees.

Chair massage near me!

Our workload shifts from day to day, as do our therapeutic “kneads.” Chair massage in Maryland is always near me. The first key to receiving a fabulous massage is to discern how you are feeling and what areas would be welcome to massage!
Because there are many types of massage, I always suggest that clients plan the type of treatment that would offer the maximum healing for the time, energy, and money spent.
It is important to consider the type of massage, variation in pressure, and areas of focus to gain the desired outcome.
Below, please find the types of massage to discover your “kneaded” treatment.
TYPES OF MASSAGE:
Corporate onsite chair massage: Typically in an office setting for 15 to 30 minutes for a fully clothed chair massage. The client can often experience a sense of stress relief from back and shoulder strain due to daily office pressures. It is easy to schedule an onsite chair massage with reasonable pricing and is very valuable.
Table massage: Typically offered in a spa or private location with modest clothing. Clients are placed on a table to allow for a longer massage with a focus on the upper and lower portion of the body. Allow 60 to 90 minutes for a table massage.
TYPICAL MODALITIES WITHIN MASSAGE:
Swedish massage: Typically offered in both chair and table massage types, this technique uses light pressure to relieve stress and promote relaxation and awareness. Clients that request this type of massage prefer lighter pressure with longer strokes with a full body massage on a table. Best for: Relaxing after a long, stressful week.
Trigger Point Therapy: Trigger point massage is typically used for specific areas of pain often with deeper pressure to allow the muscle to release. This type of massage can be administered either through chair massage or table massage.
Sports Massage: This type of massage is often done prior to or following an athletic event in order to allow muscles to loosen. This massage is most beneficial in addition to stretching. This type of massage is typically administered through table massage. Best for: Dealing with sport-specific issues and nagging injuries.
Deep Tissue Massage: Deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage with increased pressure to allow muscles to release chronic tension. Clients that request this type of massage are familiar with a high threshold for pressure. This type of massage can be administered either through chair massage or table massage. Best for: Relieving deep knots and fixing movement patterns.
